So it has been a whirlwind of a few months and all I can say is I am soooo sorry that I have neglected my blog. I got on last week to start updating the new look and I couldnt believe that it has been so long since I last posted. After working through this last holiday season I feel like time is passing at a new all time record for speed.  So im coming back to the blog to show some love to all my families that took time out of their busy schedules to shoot with me for holiday pictures.  I hope that you all enjoy this very packed teaser and come back for updated shoots  starting next week. Okay so a few weeks ago I got a phone call from the sweetest girl wanting some engagement pictures of her and her honey while she was in town visiting him. I of course asked a little about them to help us decide what we should do for their session, she said that they were from out of state her fiance was a ML baseball player..and that’s all she had to say, I had been wanting to shoot at McKechnie Field forever but just never had the right clients to make it meaning full…until now. SO I met up with Lindsay and Chris at the field to shoot some pics and I had soooo much fun with these two, besides being absolutely gorgeous on the outside, I loved the inside more, I kept thinking during this shoot that when you find the person you love, you get to do life with them, all the most important moments in your life will be with that person, and these two are going to have such a wonderful life together, Chris thank you for dealing with the picture taking, I hope that it wasnt too painful, Lindsay I love you man, thank you for having such a wonderful and light hearted personality and thank you both for loving each other, I’m so excited to see what God has for you both in the future. Im just stopping in to post a quick teaser for the B family. I met up with them to shoot some birthday inspired pictures of Miss Baylee..and isnt she such a cutie! I absolutely LOVE red hair babies! My Momma has red hair so im a little partial but she is just the cutest thing and such a daddys girl, can you tell from the tippy toes?! Hey everyone,

Just stopping in to post a teaser from a newborn shoot I had last week, this little bundle wil join a brother and sister at home along with two very loving and super cool parents. Can I just say I love children!  I love these children, they are so sweet and enthusiastic, one of the biggest rewards to my job is when a child remember that I stand for fun, Charlie, the big brother saw me and was like come see my room, so much has changed, it totally melted my heart, I consider myself so blessed to be the the story recorder, I come and record life and make memories and build friendships, some of my clients have  had me there the day they thier children came into the world, what job is more personal and special than that, so all I can say is Wow, life is good, people are wonderful and God’s creation is amazing, thank you for a wonderful life, and remember to cherish every part. Hey everyone,

So Im just stopping in to post a teaser for ME! I took some much needed family time before dinner and went on and excursion right outside our neighborhood to shoot with my babies!!! I try to do this at leaset once a month but to be honest I havent done it in a while. Soooo here are the updated pictures of my boys Jacob who is 8 now …hes so handsome I cant stand it and Dyl Pickle who is 3, also cant take the cuteness. Thank you Lord for making me a Momma to these beautiful children! I love my job as a Mom and a photographer.  While I was shooting I realized that these  are a few of my favorite things:… watching my boys with their Daddy, most of those smiles were for him..I love seeing the relationship between a Dad who really loves his kids and actually enjoys spending time with them, thank you honey for being the best daddy my boys could ever have, and also backlighting and bokeh?..one word..YUM! Enjoy!!!! So this whole week has been a week full of editing, trying to tackle the laundry monster that has taken up residency in my bathroom and wrangling these two wild monkeys they call children over here. Needless to say blogging has taken a backseat, so here I am to stop in and post a few teasers. I was telling the lady in the bakery tonight (yes…I went for cookies) and anyways I was saying that I just love my job, its the best job I could ever have, but what makes my job even better is when my work speaks to me and takes my breath away.  The shoot below is one that while I was editing I literally lost my breath a few times..becuase of her..her laughter, Normal people can look at themselves and think of all the things that they would change, and what God has shown me about her was the laughter that he gave her..and it took my breath. I think that is pretty special and I just cant thank God enough for the things we dont choose but the gifts that we are given. R family I hope you enjoy these and maybe they’ll take your breath away.
