Okay so taking a little break from my European posting, Im stoping in to post a teaser for one of my very good client friends..Racheal. She had me come over and take some newborn shots of this little man and he is quite the charmer..It is always such a amazing thing to see a wonderful family expand, and little Parker is such a blessing. Newborn photography is always one of my favorite things to shoot because it is so relevant, they change and grow up so quickly and photographs are one of the most beautiful ways to preserve this time. Its always emotional to me to see parents interact with new life and I am so blessed to be able to witness and capture that love. Rach- you are a wonderful Momma and I am so glad that God decided to bless you with this baby boy! I hope that you like your teaser and I cant wait for you to see more!!! Love you girl!!! XOXO,

Can we say b-a-b-y-b-o-o-m? I can, and I love it. It seems like every other post on here is a newborn, I’m definitely in my happy place shooting newborns they are at the top of my lists when it comes to things I love to shoot.  Last week I met up with Ashley and her family to shoot some pics of Mr. Bodie, what a doll baby he was for me, I was able to get lots of awake shots and plenty of sleepy ones too. This little guy is so sweet and I had so much fun with him and his family. H family thank you for having me in your home I hope that you enjoy your teaser…XOXO,

So last week I met up with Danielle and her baby Weston, this first thing that came to mind was how handsome he is for such a little guy. Newborns to me are always so precious because they are so small and new, but this little fella absolutely stole my heart with his little boy features, he is just such a beautiful baby and soooo sweet! He must get it from his Momma cause she was wonderful too, thank you so much Danielle for inviting me into your home to capture such a special time, this is the perfect example of why newborn photography is so important, look at the curl, you cant ever recreate that. Hey everyone,

Im just stopping in to post a quick teaser for the T family, I had met up with them at their house for a newborn shoot, I was so excited to meet this little guy because I had shot maternity for them and it is always so exciting to get to meet the little one after photographing the belly. So Easton, what can I say, you are a beautiful baby boy who has been born into a remarkably amazing family.  I love you T family and I cant wait to see you all again soon! Enjoy! XOXO,

Hey everyone,

So as a photographer there are key times that we all run into the same problem, how will I be in the picture if Im taking the picture? My friend and fellow photographer Jennifer called me for just that reason, SHe had just had her second baby a little guy named Boden who has red hair just like his Momma and has such a sweet little face! She had taken care of all his newborn pics but needed some with just the two of them, so that it what we did and all I can say is how awesome are Mom/Baby shots, definately regret not having those myself..oh well its never too late to start, Jenn I hope you like them! Hey everyone,

I have been meaning to post this for a few weeks so here we go, I met up with this momma Meredith to shoot some newborn pictures of this sweet little baby Delaney, first, I LOVE the name Delaney…soooo cute! Second, can we talk about how sweet that little squishy face is, and third today is her 1 month birthday and I will be seeing her in just a few hours, Im sooo excited to see how much she has changed in the first month, so with further delay..here she is..Enjoy! Okay so this will be my last post today so here goes..I met up with Sarah and her family to shoot some newborn pics of this little man Clark and here are somethings I learned about being in business as a newborn photographer: 1. YOu have to love newborns. I love newborns. I love the way they look, and smell, I love thier involuntary smiles, and I love newborn photography, becuase there is only a very small window when they will look, and act like this.

2.You have to love people.  I am a serial people watcher. I love watching people interact. Like take this momma for instance, she is gorgeous, the kind of beautiful that makes an artist want to work, she is the reason we are artists, the way she smiles with her children the pride that they bring her, the patience and love that surrounds her is why God made her a Momma, I could have watched her all day with these boys, it was like a therapy, just peaceful.

3. You cannot rush a newborn shoot, they can take 2 hours or 4 hours but being in this business means nothing if you couldnt hang for the 4 hours, I love my job I love not rushing cause when you take your time things end up like this…Enjoy!
